Tampa is wanting to get in the game as a major player in the art world, the 1st steps are underway a new museum, the difference is not the new bldg. It will take a community of art lovers, places to eat, and events in the park, world class art ! In Cleveland you had 500 K. house and two doors down there is a 60 k house, free events, Cleveland had a vast amount of diverse art lovers, Communities included all income levels that were involved in art

My fear is that the new TMA will be a big hit once it opens, but will it last ? walk downtown on a Sat. or Sun. and you will see a ghost town. In order to get some quality art supplies I have to go out of town !!! Crazy eh ? being a photographer there should be a photo super center here also, North Tampa Photo is good, but it's in North Tampa, 30-45 min away. Good Luck Tampa ! We need it !!!!
